I decided to join Crunchy Chicken's Buy Nothing Challenge 2009. It is for the month of August. I think that it is a good idea for us to not be buying anything new anyways, just because money is so tight these days, but also because we have become such a consumerist society.
I think the hardest part for me will be no buying coffee out. I love to go to Starbucks and get coffee, and I could justify it on my 30 days of no processed food by just getting regular coffee and not getting a latte with flavoring. But, now no coffee either...that will probably be a big savings right there. Also, no fabric will be hard. I really like to pick up fabric...although most of the time I have no clue as to what I will use it for...and it piles up and piles up. So no fabric buying either :-)
